Cozy Christmas Gift Set Tutorial – Z Fold Card & Treat Box (Part 4 in My Gift Set Series)
The holidays are the perfect time to share a little handmade joy — and today, I’m excited to share Part 4 in my Gift Set Series! This tutorial features a coordinating holiday card and treat box, both created with repurposed pieces from the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit.

A Handmade Holiday Gift Set
Both the card and treat box share a festive theme, featuring die-cut ornaments from the kit as the focal point. I flipped the ornaments over and used the white backside so I could color them with a Blending Brush — a simple trick that completely changes the look and adds a soft, custom finish.
To tie it all together, I created a belt using the All Season Velvet Specialty Paper and the Ornamental Christmas Dies from Stampin’ Up! The velvet texture perfectly complements the accents from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I also added a gold metallic topper and a “Joy” sentiment cut from the coordinating Abundant Joy Paper Pumpkin Add-On Dies.
A touch of White and Gold Baker’s Twine adds the perfect finishing detail — because a little shimmer always makes the holidays brighter!
💌 The Z Fold Hidden Message Card
This fun-fold card opens in a unique way! It’s a landscape Z Fold style with a hidden message inside that’s revealed when you open it.
I used card bases from the kit to decorate both the background and the inner fold. To finish, I wrapped the inside panel with Shaded Spruce Gold Ribbon for an elegant, festive touch.
This card is sure to surprise and delight the recipient — and it’s one you’ll want to make again and again!
I wrapped the box with a Cherry Cobbler card front from the kit and tied the top with Shaded Spruce ribbon. Inside, I tucked a few Milano Cookies — they fit perfectly! (You can grab a pack of 10 at your local grocery store or on Amazon.)
When displayed together, the card and box make a beautiful gift set. I love how the die-cut words — “Just” on the card and “because” on the box — pair to create a thoughtful sentiment.
