Sweet Summer Card Ideas with the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Summer is in full swing, and what better way to celebrate the season than with strawberries! 🍓 Today, I’m sharing two fun and fresh handmade card ideas created with repurposed elements from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit: Sweeter With You.

Blog Hop Fun
I’m joining some friends today to bring you more inspiration with the Sweeter with You Paper Pumpkin kit. So be sure to check out the BLOG HOPPERS links below for more inspiration.

These sweet strawberry-themed cards are not only adorable and interactive, but they’re also simple to create—perfect for both beginners and seasoned paper crafters alike. Whether you’re making something for a birthday, thank-you, or just because, these designs are sure to bring a smile.

And the best part? I’ve included step-by-step tutorials and a full supply list below so you can create them too! Plus, don’t miss the blog hop links at the bottom for even more creative inspiration from this kit.

🍓 Card #1 – Fun Fold Strawberry Gift Card Holder
The first card is a clever fun fold design that doubles as a gift card holder. On the outside, I used die-cut strawberries from the kit along with a background made from the patterned card bases. When you pull it open, there’s a special spot to tuck a gift card and a message inside.

This card is perfect for birthdays, graduations, or teacher appreciation gifts—really, any time you want to treat someone sweet!

✨ Card #2 – Strawberry Vine Shaker Card
Card two brings the wow factor—it’s a full-on interactive shaker card! I used the large die-cut strawberry on the vine from the kit as the focal point and filled the shaker with shimmering gold sequins for extra sparkle. I haven’t added a sentiment to this one yet—I’m saving it to customize for the perfect occasion.

Shaker cards might look fancy, but I promise they’re easier than they seem! With my tutorial below, you’ll be shaking things up in no time. 😉

📬 How Do I Mail These?
Both of these handmade cards will fold flat and fit inside the standard envelopes that came with the kit. However, if you plan to mail them through the post office, I recommend asking them to hand cancel the envelope to protect the dimension and keep everything secure.
