Corner Pop Up Fun Fold Card – Sweeter With You Alternate Paper Pumpkin Tutorial
I’m excited to share the next card in my Sweeter With You alternate Paper Pumpkin card series! This one is a Corner Pop Up Fun Fold card, and let me tell you—it’s as fun to open as it is to make.
Repurposing the Kit with a Fun Fold Twist
For this card, I repurposed pieces from the Sweeter With You Paper Pumpkin kit and added a few extra supplies to step things up a notch. The background is Pool Party 2-Tone Cardstock, and I embossed it using the So Swirly Embossing Folder to give it a soft, swirly texture that perfectly complements the sweet strawberries.
I also cut the strawberry-printed card fronts from the kit and layered them to create extra dimension and interest on the card’s front. It’s amazing how a little bit of repurposing can go a long way!
Mailing Tips
Worried about mailing this fun fold? No problem!
This Corner Pop Up card folds flat and fits into one of the standard envelopes included in your Paper Pumpkin kit. If you’re planning to send it via snail mail, I do recommend having it hand-canceled at the post office to keep it in tip-top shape when it arrives.
Repurposing Paper Pumpkin for New Designs
One of the reasons I love Paper Pumpkin kits so much is how versatile they are. For this card, I took elements from the Sweeter with You kit and gave them a whole new life! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box with your kit pieces. A simple change of layout, texture, or color can give you a completely different vibe.
