Peek-a-Boo Fun Fold Card with Sweeter With You
I’m so excited to kick off a brand-new series this week featuring Sweeter With You Alternate Paper Pumpkin Card Tutorials! First up is this adorable Peek-a-Boo Fun Fold Card—a cheerful, summery design that adds a fun surprise element to your card making.
This card is perfect for beginner and seasoned paper crafters alike, and it’s made with love by repurposing the Sweeter With You Paper Pumpkin kit and combining it with the coordinating Circle of Seasons Dies.
A Peek-a-Boo Twist on a Classic Fold
What makes this card extra special? The peek-a-boo window! There’s a fun cutout in the center that reveals the sentiment inside—so when the card is closed, the “thank you” greeting peeks through from the background.
The front is held together with a sweet layered panel, which I cut using one of the scalloped die cuts from the kit. I also used the Circle of Seasons Dies to cut out the vibrant strawberries and flowers. These extra touches bring the card to life and give it a fresh, summer vibe.
💡 Want to make it for a birthday or just because? You can easily change the greeting to suit any occasion!
Will It Fit in an Envelope?
Yes! This card folds flat and fits perfectly in the standard envelope included with the kit. If you’re mailing it, I recommend asking the post office to hand-cancel it to keep it in tip-top shape during its journey.
Repurposing Paper Pumpkin for New Designs
One of the reasons I love Paper Pumpkin kits so much is how versatile they are. For this card, I took elements from the Sweeter with You kit and gave them a whole new life! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box with your kit pieces. A simple change of layout, texture, or color can give you a completely different vibe.
