A Fancy Z Fold Card That Rides into Your Heart
Oh, you guys — I am obsessed with how this card turned out, and I just had to share it with you! This is an alternate Z fold fancy fold card I created using repurposed pieces from the June Bikes & Blooms Paper Pumpkin kit, and it is truly one of my favorite cards I’ve made in a while. The star of the show is that gorgeous die-cut bicycle from the kit — styled in sunny Crushed Curry yellow and crisp white — sitting right in front of a breathtaking scenic landscape backdrop.
The Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper gives this card the most incredible earthy, painterly background with rolling green hills, a wildflower meadow, and a dreamy cloudy sky — all in those rich, moody tones that just make your heart sing. And that “Thank you” sentiment stamped in Early Espresso ink in a flowing script? Chef’s kiss.
Pretty Products That Make the Magic Happen 🌸
What really makes this card pop is how beautifully all the Stampin’ Up! products play together. The dimensional flowers in the bike’s wooden basket are die-cut using the Detailed Flora Dies in Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive— those teal blues, golden yellows, and leafy greens layered together look just like a real bouquet of wildflowers and sunflowers.
The whole look is grounded on an Early Espresso card base that ties in the deep, rich browns from the landscape paper, making everything feel intentional and cohesive.
Additionally, the Z fold design means this card has a wonderful “reveal” moment — when you open it, you discover a clean Basic White interior with sweet little butterfly stamps tucked inside, plus that gorgeous landscape DSP showing on the back panel.

One of the things I love most about this card is how versatile it is. Obviously, it’s a gorgeous thank you card — that sentiment is right there on the front! — but honestly, this design would be just as lovely for a birthday, a thinking of you, a friendship card, or even a get well soon. The earthy, nature-inspired color palette feels fresh and timeless, so it works for so many people and so many seasons. Consequently, once you learn this Z fold technique, you’ll find yourself reaching for it over and over again, swapping out papers and sentiments for different occasions. This is absolutely one of those cards you’ll want to make in multiples and keep in your stash for whenever the moment strikes!
