THE BEST THERE IS – COUNTRY WOODS ROSETTE CARD
Sharing a unique card-making project that combines traditional elements with a fun, three-dimensional twist. This card features the versatile new Round We Go Dies from Stampin’ Up, paired with the rustic charm of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper and elements from the Best There Is Paper Pumpkin kit.
I created two differently sized rosettes using the designer series paper. These serve as the focal points of the card. To enhance the background, I repurposed one of the woodgrain envelopes from the Paper Pumpkin kit, cutting it to fit the base of the card. This not only recycles materials but also ties the whole design together with its cohesive woodsy aesthetic.
About the Round We Go Dies
These 3D rosettes not only add a wow factor but also a touch of whimsical elegance to the design. They are created with the new Round We Go dies. These are a game changer for anyone who loves adding detailed, dimensional elements to their crafts. The dies allow you to create intricate die-cut pinwheels or rosettes in various sizes. By layering colored paper cuts, you can achieve a rich, textured look that adds incredible depth to any project. The process involves adhering two of the long pieces together and folding them meticulously to form a pinwheel or a beautiful rosette.
Mailing Your Masterpiece
While this card folds to fit a standard Stampin’ Up Medium Sized envelope, its dimensional nature might require a bit more attention if you plan to mail it. I recommend having the envelope hand-canceled at your post office to prevent any damage during the mailing process. Keep in mind, the extra bulk may incur a small additional postage fee.
