INSIDE OUT FLIP CARD
I’m sharing two fun projects that I’ve made using the stunning September Paper Pumpkin kit. As you know, I love getting creative with my kits and finding new ways to repurpose the beautiful pieces that come with them. This month’s fall-themed kit is no exception—it’s absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve had so much fun transforming it into alternate projects. Today, I’ll walk you through my latest projects: the Inside Out Flip Card and a coordinating handmade treat box. Let’s dive in!
Project 1: Inside Out Flip Card
The moment I opened the September Paper Pumpkin kit, I was inspired by the vibrant fall colors and the intricate die cuts. For this card, I decided to create an Inside Out Flip Card, which is perfect for showcasing the beauty of the kit’s elements in a unique, interactive way.
One of the key features of this card is the wood background I created by cutting up one of the printed card bases from the kit. It adds a lovely rustic feel, perfectly in tune with the autumn season. To complement that, I used some of the beautiful leaf die cuts from the kit to add dimension and interest. The Copper foil paper from the Metallics Specialty pack really stands out and gives the card a touch of elegance.
Best of all, this card folds neatly into a standard size, so it fits perfectly into the envelopes that come with the Paper Pumpkin kit, making it a complete coordinated project.
Project 2: Handmade Autumn Treat Box
What’s a beautiful card without a matching treat box? I used Stampin’ Up’s Book Treat Boxes as the base for this project and covered them with the wood grain background paper from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. This paper is ideal for adding that cozy, natural feel to any autumn-themed project.
To keep the theme consistent, I decorated the box with the same autumn leaves and die cuts from the Paper Pumpkin kit, bringing everything together in one beautiful, seasonal package. It’s the perfect little box for holding treats, gifts, or even small trinkets for fall occasions!
