It's time for a "tea party" with a warm cup of tea and the Stampin' Up! Tea Together stamp set, with the coordinating Tea Time Dies. The tea pot and cup and saucer images were stamped on designer paper from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty collection. The script designer paper reveal is from the 2019-21 In Color DSP collection. The rose image is colored with Stampin Blends markers. Layered over a Pearlized Doily. This "perfect day" card is a "perfect" combination of all 3 coordinating Lily pad products available for a limited time during Stampin' Up's Sale-a-bration. The Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set, Lily Pad Dies and the Lily Pad Impressions Designer Paper all work together to create this simple beauty. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RETIRING IN COLORS
One of the many awesome features of Stampin Up products is our color coordination. Everything matches, it’s like Gar-animals. Remember those clothes when we were kids? The monkey tags went with the monkeys, making it easy to dress your kids in matching clothes. Stampin up is like the Gar-animals of paper crafts lol. Stampin Up has 5 Color Collections: Regals, Subtles, Brights, Neutrals and In Colors. See the color chart below for the full collection. The In Color collection is a little different from our Core Collection. It's broken down into 2 groups of 5. Each year 5 of these 10 colors go away, and we get 5 new colors. It’s a great way to introduce fresh and trendy colors. The In Color Collections are named by the year they were introduced and the year they will be retired. For example the collection retiring this year is named 2018-2020 In Colors. They are retired with the Annual Catalog officially retiring June 2, 2020 (the date is marked on the back of the annual catalog). This is such a pretty card in soft pastels from the Subtle Collection. Created with the Stampin Up Woven Heirlooms stamp set and Heirlooms die and folder for the frame. The background is textured with the Country Floral folder. The color is applied with sponge daubers. The words are stamped on Vellum Card stock and layered behind the frame. This is a clever card design, and some genius improvising by Julie DeGuia. The card uses the Stampin Up Meant to Be Bundle (stamp set and die) along with the Golden Honey Specialty Paper that is available free during Saleabration. Julie didn't have the Honey Bee stamp set that coordinates with the paper, so instead she stamped the "Meant to be Sentiment". Using the Stamparatus positioning tool to line up the last letter, she inked up only the "e" and stamped it at the end to create the word "bee" from the word "be".Coordinate with your Sale-a-bration Products

In this online class I'll be sharing how to customize the designer paper from the Stampin' Up Botanical Prints Medley to coordinate with any project. Will be doing simple techniques with the Stampin' Blends markers, perfect for those just beginning to color with the blends, and also for the avid blends users.
I find coloring therapeutic. I could sit and play with this paper for hours. Linda and I did a video featuring the Botanical Prints Medley last week on the Stampin Scoop Show. I'm pretty excited to share this shutter card video with you. It's not only a cool interactive card technique, but it includes the Capture the Good stamp set that I helped design with Stampin Up! I love this set, it's my favorite (I know I may be slightly biased). I love photography. The front of this card says "Snap Click Say Cheese" with a photobombing koala. And when you open it, there is a camera with a shutter that opens to reveal another koala! Super fun! I was also thinking how cool this idea would be for a party invitation. When you open it, the camera reveals a photo. I combined the Stampin Up Birthday Bonanza Suite with the Capture the Good stamp set for this party card. The Bonanza Buddies stamp set and dies, combined with the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper, pompoms and matching Daffodil Ruched Ribbon. I will share how I made this card on the video below. There is an accompanying free PDF below as well that includes all of the measurements and scoring information. My inspiration for this card came from a shutter card that Donna Hepburn created (photo below) using the camera stamp. Yesterday I shared an online class video featuring alternative ideas for the January "I'll bee yours" Paper Pumpkin Kit. I shared how to make suspended heart cards. For this alternate card, I combined the January kit, and the Best Dressed Designer Paper with the Stampin' Up Timeless Tulips bundle to create these framed "heart flowers". The frame was created with the Stitched Rectangle dies, the same way I created the frame on the suspended heart card (see video here). Adorable "From all of us" card makes a great birthday, congratulations, wedding or anniversary card from the gang. I combined the new Stampin Up The Gang's All Meer Saleabration stamp set with the Capture the Good stamp set (my fav wink wink). I colored the images with Stampin Blends markers. The meerkats in the lens was stamped and colored on scrap paper, then punched out with the circle punch. I layered that over the camera image.
