APPT Blog Hop – Stunning Easel Drawer Card Tutorial
It’s that time again – the APPT Blog Hop is here, and I’ve got a project that’s both stunning and functional! This time, I’ve repurposed pieces from the Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit to create a beautiful Easel Drawer Card.

What’s an Easel Drawer Card? Imagine a fun fold card that’s also a gift box – the best of both worlds! This project combines the elegance of an Easel fun fold with a practical drawer box that can hold small gifts, trinkets, or even a gift card.
Creating the Easel Drawer Card
For this project, I started by cutting the card bases from the Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit to use as the printed layers. The gorgeous patterns add the perfect backdrop while keeping that cohesive look.
To elevate the design, I layered the printed pieces over Gold Foil, adding a touch of elegance and shine. The words are heat embossed for that raised, polished look.
I also stamped “Congratulations” on a coordinating label from the kit – it’s a perfect way to tie all the elements together.
But here’s the fun twist – I even used some of the Melon Mambo Tissue Paper that the kit was wrapped in. It adds a pop of color and coordinates beautifully with the other elements.
