Vintage Vibes with a Twist: Diagonal Joy Fold Cards Using Farmhouse Florals
If you’re anything like me, you love getting even more creative with your Paper Pumpkin kits—especially when you can repurpose pieces to make something fresh and fun! Today I’m sharing two vintage-inspired Diagonal Joy Fold cards that I created using elements from the August Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumpkin kit. These cards are packed with charm and perfect for just about any occasion.
Double Flip of Fun
What makes these cards really special is the Diagonal Joy Fold. This fun fold adds a surprise twist with its double flip-out design, creating a delightful interactive experience for the recipient. Best of all? It folds flat and fits into a standard-sized envelope—although keep in mind that you may need extra postage if you’re mailing them.
How I Made It
For this project, I repurposed pieces from the Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumpkin kit—specifically the stamps and the adorable typewriter die cuts. I paired those with elegant paper from the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper, which has a soft, neutral color palette and refined prints that work beautifully for this theme.

Flowers in a Bag Card: Earthy and cozy, this version features Mossy Meadow and the warm golden-orange hue of Timid Tiger.
Designer Paper Mix & Match
I love mixing and layering designer papers for extra texture and depth. These cards combine papers from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely Florals Scrapbook Kit and the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper Collection. These collections complement each other beautifully and add that perfect vintage touch.
