Christmas in July: Rustic Corner Pop Up Card Tutorial
Hey crafty friends!
Cooling off with a little Christmas in July fun today, and I’m so excited to kick off not just the Stamp It Group Blog Hop, but also a brand new Corner Pop Up Fun Fold series! Whether you’re sipping iced tea or cocoa, this wintery handmade card is sure to bring some holiday magic to your craft table.
❄️ About This Card
This card features a rustic winter theme using the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Centerpiece Stamp Set. This stamp set was released in the July Online Exclusives.
I just adore the cozy vibes of this stamp set—especially that sweet wooden reindeer and Christmas tree image on the front. I brought it to life using Stampin’ Blends Markers, and you can watch the entire process in my Corner Pop Up Folding Class video linked below.
I also share some of my favorite tips and tricks for blending and shading—perfect for beginners and experienced colorers alike!
For added texture, I embossed the background panel of the fold, giving it that snowy, dimensional look. I also share a neat trick in the video for attaching ribbon cleanly and securely—without creating bulk when the card is folded flat.
💌 How Do I Mail It?
Yes, this is a pop-up fun fold, but it cleverly folds flat! That means it fits inside a standard-sized envelope (just like the ones in the Stampin’ Up! kits). If you’re sending it through the mail, I do recommend asking the post office to hand cancel it, just to protect all the layers and dimension.
