Spooky Sweet Corner Pop Up Card – Handmade Halloween Card Tutorial
Today’s card is part of my Corner Pop Up Card Series, and it’s one of my favorites yet! I created this Halloween-themed fun fold using the Spooky Sweet Suite from the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives collection. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting your paper crafting journey, this project is a spooky good time!
A Peek at the Front
The front of the card features a mysterious little black cat peeking out the window—so cute and just the right amount of spooky! I used patterned paper from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper pack to create the scene. This set is filled with fun Halloween images, perfect for treat packaging, cards, and more.
A Surprise Inside
Now for the best part—open the card to reveal a pop-up surprise! The Corner Pop Up Fold adds so much dimension and fun to the inside. I stamped “Halloween” on mine, but this design is versatile enough to become a quirky fall birthday card just by switching out the sentiment. That’s the beauty of handmade cards—you can make them your own!
About the Spooky Sweet Suite
This suite is packed with tricks and treats! The Spooky Halloween stamp and die bundle includes a haunted house, bats, and other Halloween icons. The coordinating paper makes it easy to build scenes like the one I used for the black cat card front.
But don’t stop there! Add in the Iridescent Cello Treat Bags for goodie giving and tie them up with the Petunia Iridescent Ribbon—both are stunning additions to any Halloween project.

How Do I Mail It?
Even though this card has a pop-up inside, it folds flat and fits perfectly inside a standard medium envelope (included with the kit). Just a heads-up: if you’re mailing it the old-fashioned way, ask for it to be hand canceled at the post office to protect your beautiful handiwork.
