Driving into 2025: A Fun Fold Card to Ring in the New Year!
I’m so excited to showcase a special project and video class that I’ve created for my Stamp It Group’s New Year’s Themed Blog Hop today. This fun fold card, which I’ve lovingly dubbed “Cruising into the New Year “ features a vintage car design that’s sure to delight anyone who receives it. With its bold red, black, and white color palette and interactive design, this card is perfect not only for celebrating the start of 2025 but also for Valentine’s Day, Graduations, birthdays, or even anniversaries.

The Inspiration Behind the Card
When I first saw the vintage car in the Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamps and Dies Bundle, I knew it would be the star of a fun and interactive card. The idea of a car driving us into the new year felt symbolic—leaving the past behind and embracing the road ahead.
For this project, I incorporated a special fun fold where the car on the front can be lifted to reveal a surprise underneath. It’s an unexpected detail that adds an extra touch of magic to the card.
How I Made It
I used the Stampin’ Blends markers to color the car, giving it a rich, dimensional look. The black and white background is embossed to add texture, while the gold accents give the design a celebratory touch that’s perfect for the New Year. The lift-up feature was a fun way to make the card interactive, and it’s a great conversation starter for anyone who receives it.

And I have buttons on every page that say “Click here to shop with host code” and it will automatically enter the current code for you so you don’t need to do any work.
