I’m back with another card in my Double Gate Fold Series, and today’s project is truly road-trip ready! I created this festive fold using the Stampin’ Up! Road to Christmas Kit from the Kits Collection — and let me tell you, this kit was made for creative detours
While it includes everything needed to make the original designs, I love taking these all-inclusive kits and giving them a transformational twist. As soon as I opened it, I knew it was time to “hit the road” with another fun fold.
About the Card
This Double Gate Fold design creates a beautiful “opening doors” look that feels interactive and special, yet it’s still beginner-friendly. I wanted this project to be approachable for new card makers but still give experienced crafters something with that wow factor. The Road to Christmas Kit comes packed with pre-cut layers, die-cut pieces, and adorable printed elements — everything from festive vehicles to charming woodland scenes — making it incredibly easy to repurpose pieces for alternate layouts like this one.
Because the kit’s artwork is already coordinated, you get a polished, professional look with very little trimming or prep work. Mailing This Card
