Double Gatefold Halloween Card Tutorial – Spooky Sweet Series
I’m so excited to share this fun Halloween card with you today! Not only is it part of my Stamp It Group Blog Hop, but it’s also the very first project in my brand-new Double Gatefold Fancy Fold Series. This fold is such a fun and easy way to give your handmade cards that extra “wow” factor without a lot of complicated steps.
Whether you’re brand new to card making or a seasoned stamper, you’re going to love this project.
Why I Love This Card
For this project, I used some of the adorable Halloween-themed products from Stampin’ Up!’s Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. One of the best parts about this suite is how versatile it is.
The kit comes with stickers and specialty designer paper that includes die cuts—like the cauldron, potion bottle, and candy corn I used here. These make it super quick to pull together a polished, professional-looking card without needing a lot of extras.
And while the theme is Halloween, I love using these projects for fall birthdays, parties, or other special occasions. Just swap out your greeting and you’ve got a seasonal card ready to go!
What About the Envelope?
The Double Gatefold card folds flat, so it will fit perfectly inside a standard-sized envelope. If you’re mailing it, just keep in mind that the extra layers and embellishments may require a little extra postage.
