One Flip Book, Endless Occasions! 🎂💍🎄
You know that feeling when you make something you love so much that you can’t stop thinking of new ways to use it? That’s exactly what happened with my Gift Card Flip Book! 😍
When I designed it for my All Wrapped Up Create & Craft Class, I pictured it as a Christmas gift card holder.
Then life handed me two very special occasions in a row, and I realized this little flip book had a lot more to give. It’s the gift that keeps on flipping! 😉
The 21st Birthday Flip Book 🎂
My stepdaughter was turning 21, and I wanted to give her something that felt bright, happy and completely her. I pulled out the flip book base and paired it with the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Velvet Meadow Suite. The soft florals and pops of pink and yellow were just right!
For the big “21” on the front, I used my retired Large Numbers dies. The gift card waterfall holds a stack of her favorite gift cards, and every pull of the ribbon brings another surprise. 🎁
One side pocket holds a coordinating birthday card. In the other, I tucked in a little trip down memory lane: a mat of printed photos from some of her milestone moments. It turned a gift card holder into a keepsake she’ll want to keep long after the gift cards are spent. 💕
The Wedding Flip Book 💍
Next up, two of my best friends got married, and I knew a store-bought card just wasn’t going to cut it. This time I switched things up completely!
Instead of gift cards, I filled the waterfall with photos of the bride and groom from their big day. Now every pull of the ribbon shows another favorite moment. 📸 (Tissues not included! 😭)
I used the brand new Somewhere in Time Suite, coming in November, and y’all… those black and gold papers are pure elegance. One side pocket holds a personal note to the happy couple, and the other holds a gold-matted photo from the wedding with “Best Wishes” foiled in gold.
It’s a keepsake they can flip through on every anniversary. ✨
