CIRCLE CHART

We designed the center of the camera (lens) to coordinate with the Circle Punches and Layering Circle dies to create different effects. You can stamp words in the center, stamp a scene, punch it out to make a shaker card, add a photo to make it a photo card or stack them to create a zoom lens. Here's a chart of what punches and dies work with the lens.

CAPTURE THE GOOD - PART 1 OF 3

I've never been as excited about a catalog launch as I am this upcoming catalog. Why? Because my Million Dollar stamp set: Capture the Good is finally coming out. Page 142 of the 2019-20 Annual Catalog is my most favorite of all time! I've been waiting a long time for this. Papercrafting is my 1st love, and photography is my 2nd. I was able to combine them together with this stamp set. Use the camera lens for words, photos, nature scenes and more. I've got a video from the stamp set debut, and lots of card samples to share below. Including a chart, I made showing how to use the lens of the camera with different sized circle punches and dies. I will post some more ideas and uses for this stamp set over the next 2 days.

$2 Million Party & Blog Candy

Today's video is a little FBF "Flash Back Friday" fun (and blog candy giveaway). Stampin' Up just sent this video they put together. It contains the highlights of my $2,000,000 party last year at the Stampin' Up! Mfg Plant in Kanab, Utah. It has been so fun reliving this milestone memory. I chose to have the celebration at our factory with the workers who make our products. This is where our stamps are made. While we were there, I did a video documentary on the people behind the stamps. You can read the full recap of our adventures on this trip below. Stampin' Up also made a very generous donation to Autism Speaks on my behalf. I'll share Rett Christiansen's letter below. The month previous to this party my customers and I had raised over $2,000 for Autism research and awareness. Stay tuned next we'll be doing it again! In April I will be launching another fun card kit to raise money in honor of World Autism Awareness Day / Month.

The "Merry Christmas" comes from the Stampin Up Merry Christmas to All bundle (stamps and dies). The background is the new Striped Burlap Ribbon and Santa's Workshop DSP. I'm really excited about today's online class video. I designed this card last month for a card swap, and it quickly become one of my favorite cards, from one of my favorite new suites in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog. This is Part 2 in my 4 part series on the Myths & Magic Suite. Love the dragon and knight from the Magical Day stamp set (and not just because my maiden name was Knight lol). The words come from the Petal Palette stamp set, I thought they worked with this card perfectly. It also features the new Glimmer Paper everyone has been dying for since last year's SAB.

Myths & Magic Part 1: You are one of a kind mermaid card from the Magical Day Stamps

I am loving this new Stampin' Up Myths & Magic Suite. The knights, dragons, mermaids, unicorns and wizards are too cute for words. I'll be featuring this suite in a 4 part series on my blog and Facebook this week. So many cool ideas. I shared a sneak peek of the series on the Stampin Scoop Show Catalog Launch yesterday. This card was created by Rachael Coon for our Occasions catalog card swap (click here to see the replay of the live card swap). She stamped the mermaid from the Magical Day Stamp Set, colored with Brights Stampin Write Markers and cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies. The words were stamped on Bermuda Bay card stock and cut out. The card design works for either a "pull up" style, or the front flap can fold down (this card folds down). The background paper is from the Myths & Magic Specialty paper. Stay tuned tomorrow for my Facebook Live class (noon est), which is part 2 of my 4 part series. We'll be coloring the knights and dragons in this stamp set with the Stampin Blends markers, and more cool techniques. CARD: Set of Joy Cards from Cheers to the Year Stamp Part 1 of 2

When it comes to making holiday cards, I'm always looking for quick and easy "Wow" cards that can be created in bulk for larger lists. This is a perfect design. Featuring the Stampin Up Cheers to the Years stamp set for the workd "joy". It's is heat embossed in either silver, or gold, on Shimmery White card stock and layered on Gold/Silver Foil. The Foil Snowflake is simply cut in half and added to the top and bottom for this effect.

CARD: White Christmas Shaker WOW – Part II

It's made with the Circle framelits, cut the circle and attach a window sheet to the back. then rim the back with either Stampin Dimensional (the edging works awesome) or foam tape. Attach your backing scene and Fill with confetti...like the stars from the new star punch, or chunky glitter. The snowman and the polar bear are inside and were attached to the dimensionals. CARD – Open Sleigh Part II

Dashing thru the snow....for part 2 of my series on the Open Sleigh stamp set. I love the vintage feel of the stamp set. It doesn't take a lot of effort to make something beautiful with it, which is important if you're making a lot of cards.
