Full of Charm Floating Flower Card – Paper Pumpkin Alternate

I’m excited to share the first of my alternate card ideas for the Full of Charm Paper Pumpkin Kit. This one is truly something special — it’s a Floating Flower Card that has a magical 3D look while still folding flat for mailing.

A Card That “Floats” with Elegance
At first glance, this card looks like an intricate bouquet is suspended in mid-air. That’s the magic of a Floating Card design! When the card stands up, the floral die cuts appear to float inside the frame — giving it an eye-catching and artistic look that’s surprisingly easy to create.
To achieve this illusion, I used Window Sheets paired with the Textured Notes Rectangle Dies. The window sheet becomes the invisible base that holds your floral die cuts in place, while the layered frames add stability and style. The result? A stunning card that looks like it’s straight out of a boutique, but it’s handmade with love.
Featuring the Full of Charm Paper Pumpkin Kit
This project uses pieces from the July Full of Charm Paper Pumpkin kit. I repurposed the beautiful printed floral designs, paired them with some layered die cuts, and added stamped sentiments to give the card a completely new look while still using the kit components. It’s a great way to stretch your kit supplies and take your creativity even further.
How to Mail the Floating Flower Card
Wondering how to send this beauty? No worries — this card folds flat and fits perfectly inside a standard Stampin’ Up! Medium Envelope. That makes it not only gorgeous but also practical for gifting and mailing.
