Introducing the Cards
I created these 2 fun fold cards for the video. They are inspired by the latest scrapbooking kits. These designs highlight two exciting techniques that take your card-making to the next level.
What’s Unique About 2 Tone Card Stock?
One of the stars of these cards is our new 2 Tone Card Stock. Unlike our standard card stock that’s dyed all the way through, this paper has a white core, making it perfect for techniques like tearing and sanding.
These subtle details can completely transform your projects, giving them a professional touch with minimal effort.
Two Tone Card Stock Technique #1
Torn Edge Technique – Achieve a white edge using 2 Tone Card Stock, which has a white core. I demonstrated this technique on the Storybook Life Z Fold Card for a whimsical and textured effect.
I didn’t have a Boho ribbon to match this card so I colored white ribbon with the Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.
Two Tone Card Stock Technique #2
3D Embossing & Sanding – Add depth and drama to your designs! Using the same 2 Tone Card Stock, I embossed and sanded to reveal the white core, creating a beautifully textured look on the Everyday You & Me Card.
