You Are Otterly Amazing! Handmade Card Tutorial
Everybody loves otters! These adorable, playful little creatures bring so much joy, and I couldn’t resist featuring them in my latest card design. I created this Pop Out Z Fold Card using the Stampin’ Up! Otterly Adorable Suite. The words come from the Otterly Amazing Stamp Set, and the charming otter scenes are cut from the Otterly Adorable Designer Series Paper.

This fun fold card is part of my Pop Out Z Fold series, but I did something a little different this time—I used circles instead of squares for the pop-up element. It turned out so cute! If you love making interactive cards that surprise and delight, this one is for you.
What Makes the Pop Out Z Fold Special?
The Pop Out Z Fold is one of my favorite fun fold techniques because it’s easy to make yet offers an unexpected wow factor when opened. The card base forms a “Z” shape, and the pop-up feature creates a layered dimension that makes the design stand out.
When you open the card, the greeting pops up inside!
How Do I Mail This Card?
Great news! This card folds flat and fits into a standard-sized envelope. If you’re adding extra embellishments, or dimensional layers, check with your postal service to see if additional postage is needed. Otherwise, it’s ready to send as a happy surprise in someone’s mailbox!
