Storm Updates and Paper Pumpkin Giveaway and Free Gift Deadline is March 10

STORM UPDATE So that "little" snowstorm they were predicting ended up hitting my area with some wet, heavy snow, that took down trees and power lines. We are used to snow here in New England, but this was heavier then our poor trees and power lines could take, and much of our region ended up without power. I was fortunate to get my power back after a day, but Linda's is still out. As the power came back on, the supplies for my new office remodel arrived. I had outgrown my old office set up, and needed to re-work the space to better fit our needs. Once it's complete, I hope to be run more efficiently. Construction is beginning today, which has my tiny temporary office space even more crowded and a little tight to work in. My stamp space (Also known as my dining room) is totally covered with office supplies during the construction. As a result, I have to reschedule my Friday Facebook Live Class until next Tuesday. And we have to cancel Tuesday's Stamp Scoop (we will be back on March 27 with episode 50). Hopefully Linda gets her power back soon.

PAPER PUMPKIN FREE GIFT DEADLINE MARCH 10

My facebook live class was going to be my February "Wildflower Wishes" kit alternate project. Below are some alternate projects from Stampin Up. Updated Facebook Live times and dates are listed in the EVENTS section of my Facebook page.

ONLINE CLASS: How to create the Distressed Metal Technique – Part 5 in my Waterfront Series

CARD

How to create the "Distressed Metal" look with Stampin' Up! Foils on today's live online class and video. This class is final part of my series on the Waterfront Stamp Set. I'll also be featuring the One Wild Ride and Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Sets. A super cool and easy technique that was born as a "pinterest fail" lol. I stumbled upon this look completely by accident when trying to duplicate a different technique. My original idea may have failed, but I actually like the cool distressed look it created even better then the original.

ONLINE CLASS: How to create a Waterfront Wow Card Set – Part 2 in my Waterfront Series

CARD

I'm so excited for today's online class. I'll be creating these 2 gorgeous "wow" cards from the Stampin' Up! Waterfont Stamp Set. I have become slightly addicted to this set and it's versatility. Today's card set will feature some fun techniques including sponging with sponge daubers, stamping off to create depth and more. I gave a sneak peek preview of these cards on the Stampin Scoop Show Wednesday. Check out episode 49 for more card ideas featuring the Waterfront stamp set. And my Waterfront Blog Series for instructions, measurements and more fun cards from this set. The Waterfront Stamp Set was designed by my friend Connie Heisey for her Million dollar set. Connie was the 5th demonstrator to have ever hit $1Million in personal career sales. Here's a picture we took after she hit in 2014 of the first 5 Million Dollar sellers (at the time there were only 5). In order (right to left): Mary Polcin, Lisa Fast, Joyce Feraco, Tami White and Connie Heisey. If you're wondering what stamp set was my Million dollar set, it hasn't been released yet. But I did get to name the stamp set White Christmas.

The Stampin Scoop Show – Episode 49 – The Waterfront Stamp Set

THE STAMPIN SCOOP SHOW – Episode 49

Waterfront Stamp Set February 27, 2018 This is the episode where Linda and I admit to being intimidated by a stamp set lol. Last week I did a poll on my Facebook page asking what your favorite Occasions Catalog products were. And the Stampin Up Waterfront Stamp set was one of the favorites from the poll. Once I started stamping with this stamp set, I quickly became addicted to it. It's one of the most versatile stamp sets I've ever worked with. I had so much fun making cards with this set (after I got over the initial fear) that I couldn't stop myself. I am starting a series of Waterfront projects and today's scoop is part 1 in this series. Stay tuned to my blog this week and I'll be sharing more, including instructions and measurements.
