A Garden Full of Hummingbirds — Fluttering Garden Z Fold Card
Oh, you guys — I am absolutely swooning over this card! 😍 If hummingbirds make your heart flutter (pun absolutely intended 😄), then you are going to love today’s project.
I created this gorgeous Z Fold Card using repurposed pieces from the Fluttering Garden Paper Pumpkin Kit, and honestly, it turned out even better than I imagined. The dreamy Pool Party color palette pairs so beautifully with the stunning pre-printed hummingbird die cuts from the kit.
These little birds are everything. They’re so lifelike and detailed, with their warm copper and teal wings, that I just couldn’t resist giving them a starring role. If you’ve been looking for a handmade card idea using Stampin’ Up! products, this one is going to make you hum with excitement! 🐦
Why I’m Obsessed with This Card (and These Products!)
First of all, can we talk about how stunning the Fluttering Garden Paper Pumpkin Kit is? I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of my all-time favorites. The delicate white wildflower silhouettes printed with the Pool Party background actually came from the envelopes in the kit. They give the card such an elegant, garden-in-bloom feel.
And the hummingbirds — oh my goodness — I placed them hovering mid-flight with Stampin’ Dimensionals so they literally pop right off the card. ✨ To top it all off, I added the gold glimmer embellishments from the kit and the word “Beautiful” from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack — because honestly, that’s the only word for it!
The inside of the card features the sentiment “I’m So Grateful For You” from the kit itself, which makes this card feel warm, personal, and ready to deliver a little joy to someone special.

This card uses a Z Fold structure — don’t let that intimidate you if you’re new to fun folds! A Z Fold simply means the card base is scored and folded in a zigzag pattern, creating a beautiful reveal when opened. Full measurements, written instructions are all included below so you easily recreate this — whether this is your very first fun fold or your fiftieth!
