I’m so excited to share today’s project—a gorgeous Kite Fold Fun Fold card created with this month’s Product of the Month: the Stampin’ Up! True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper.
This fun fold has such a striking, dimensional look, yet it’s simple enough for new card makers to enjoy. The fresh blues and delicate patterns in this paper make the card feel elegant, uplifting, and perfect for any occasion.
A Beautiful, Interactive Card Front
The kite shape instantly draws the eye, creating a bold focal point without complicated steps. I used two coordinating patterns from the True Blue Florals DSP and layered them to build the iconic kite design. The clean lines and crisp angles make the front feel modern and stylish while still being soft enough for everyday sending.
For the sentiment, I combined the Words of Beauty Bundle—the die-cut “just” paired with the stamped “because.” This combination gives you the freedom to make this card fit any moment: “just because,” “just thinking of you,” “just a note,” or “just for being you.” It’s simple, heartfelt, and incredibly versatile.
A Hidden Message Inside the Kite
When you lift the kite fold, there’s a single pop-up message panel tucked underneath—a sweet little surprise for the recipient!
