A Cozy Autumn Card with a Twist
Hey friends! Today, I’m excited to share a warm and rustic fall-themed card that I created as an alternative design using the Fall for Toile Paper Pumpkin Kit. This one has all the cozy vibes of the season — a crisp autumn sky, a pop-out tree, and an adorable little fox — wrapped up in a fun fold you’ll love making.

Behind the Design
When I opened the Fall for Toile Kit, I instantly fell in love with the soft patterns and earthy tones. I decided to repurposesome of the kit elements and combine them with the Autumn Tree Dies for a totally new look.
To create that “peek-outside-the-window” effect, I used the die-cut frame from the kit and layered it over a piece of Everyday Skies Designer Series Paper. It looks just like a beautiful fall afternoon sky! Then, I added a tree die cut that extends beyond the frame, giving the card dimension and making it really “pop.”
And of course — I couldn’t resist including that sweet little fox! He perfectly matches the one featured in the Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper, tying the whole design together.
Fun Fold Feature
This card isn’t just pretty — it’s interactive! The frame acts as the fold-out panel for the card base, revealing your message inside. I mounted it over a printed card base from the kit for a polished finish.
It’s one of those fun folds that looks impressive but is actually very doable. New card makers can jump right in, and advanced crafters can take it up a notch with extra layers or embellishments.
Coordination Made Easy
If you don’t have the Fall for Toile kit, no worries! This project coordinates beautifully with the Autumn Toile Suite, so you can easily recreate the look using those products. The Autumn Tree Dies I used are part of that suite, making it easy to substitute similar pieces.
