Z Fold Double Pop Up Camper Card Tutorial
Featuring the Stampin’ Up! Adventure Together Bundle + May Paper Pumpkin Kit
Hi crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a unique and interactive Z Fold Double Pop Up card that I created using the May Paper Pumpkin Kit: Mountain Majesties along with the Stampin’ Up! Adventure Together stamp and die bundles. This card is packed with movement, personality, and the cutest little camper scene that pops up as you open it!
Repurposing the Kit
I love giving Paper Pumpkin kits a second life, and this card does just that! I used the printed card fronts from the Mountain Majesties kit to create the scenic backgrounds for my Z fold base. The abstract landscape designs were too pretty not to reuse—they make the perfect backdrop for this camping adventure!
The Star of the Show: That Adorable Camper
The camper image from the Adventure Together stamp set completely stole my heart. It’s playful, nostalgic, and fun to color. I actually designed this card before the Last Chance list was announced, and was shocked (and thrilled!) to see this bundle on it—and on sale. If you love it too, you’ll want to scoop it up before it drives off into the sunset.
A Surprise Inside
When you open the card, both the camper and a die-cut piece of Mossy Meadow Vellum rise up to form a pop-up campground, complete with a little fire pit. It’s a simple but delightful double pop-up mechanism that brings the whole scene to life. The interactive element gives this card that big “wow” factor without being overly complicated to make.
Sentiments & Versatility
I turned this card into a birthday card, but with a quick switch of the sentiment, it could easily become a retirement card, thank you, or even a masculine encouragement card. The versatility of the design means you can create a whole series of these for different occasions!
