A Stunning Sunburst With Mountain Majesties – Alternate Card Tutorial

Today’s handmade card tutorial is extra special—it’s the first of my alternate projects using the May “Mountain Majesties” Paper Pumpkin Kit and part of my popular Sunburst Technique series. About the Card
This beautiful card blends the scenic elegance of the Mountain Majesties Paper Pumpkin Kit with bold, uplifting words from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings for All Ephemera Pack. I used the “Get Well Soon” sentiment on this sample, but honestly, this design works perfectly for so many occasions—think birthdays, congratulations, thinking of you, or even just a note to brighten someone’s day.
What makes this card really shine is the Sunburst Technique. I created the burst by cutting strips from the printed envelopes included in the Paper Pumpkin kit—yes, those gorgeous envelope liners are fair game! I then alternated the colors to create a dynamic visual effect that feels both artistic and effortless.
Make It Your Own
One of the things I love most about this card is how easy it is to personalize. You can swap out the sentiment or even change the color scheme depending on which envelope liners you use. It’s a great way to stretch the value of your Paper Pumpkin kit while creating something truly unique.
