Flower Power Fun Fold Card
Get ready to take a trip back to the groovy vibes of the 60s! When I designed this fun fold card, I couldn’t stop thinking about those iconic Volkswagen bugs and vans decked out in bold colors and flower power designs. This card is a joyful nod to that era, and the unique fun fold design makes it even more exciting.
Inspiration Behind the Design
The centerpiece of this card is the adorable vintage car, inspired by the Stampin’ Up Classic Wedding Bundle. The Full of Life Designer Paper gave me the perfect rainbow starburst pattern to capture that free-spirited, retro vibe.
For the car’s body, I got creative by stamping the image onto a separate pattern from the same designer paper. This added a playful, textured look that ties the whole card together beautifully.
To complete the theme, I wanted the words “Flower Power” to stand out just like a bumper sticker on a classic bug. Since I didn’t have the exact sentiment in my collection, I used Canva to create it.
The sentiment was brought to life with vibrant Stampin’ Blends Markers and framed using a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The result? A centerpiece that’s as groovy as it is eye-catching!
