TIME FOR CAKE ALTERNATE PART 4
Today, I’m excited to share with you a handmade birthday card that I created by repurposing die cuts and printed paper from the Time for Cake Paper Pumpkin kit. One of my favorite aspects of this card is the way it combines small paper scraps and fun die cuts to create a truly unique design. If you’ve ever wondered what to do with leftover pieces from your kits, this tutorial will give you some fresh ideas!

Repurposing Kit Materials
As I was going through my Time for Cake Paper Pumpkin kit, I started thinking about all the little printed paper scraps that I couldn’t bear to toss away. That’s when I decided to experiment with the die cut strips from the kit. The end result turned out even better than I imagined! The strips make a beautiful focal point for the card, adding texture and depth. It’s always so satisfying to turn simple scraps into something special, don’t you think?
Adding Fun Elements
To bring the design to life, I added some balloon die cuts from the same kit. The balloons add just the right amount of whimsy and make the card perfect for celebrating someone’s special day. These small details really made the card come together, and I love how festive it feels without being overly complicated.
