Pop Up Garden Delights with the Welcoming Garden Kit 🌸
I’m so excited to share today’s handmade card tutorial with you—because it’s blooming with charm and pops with personality! I created these stunning garden-themed cards using the Welcoming Garden Card Making Kit from Stampin’ Up!’s Kits Collection. But rather than simply following the kit instructions, I gave it a creative twist using the Pop Up Block Fun Fold technique!
If you love flower beds, sweet fences, and adorable birdhouses, this one’s for you.
A Fresh Take on the Welcoming Garden Kit
The original Welcoming Garden kit is beautiful on its own, but I saw an opportunity to take it to the next level. I repurposed the elements—florals, fencing, greetings, and birdhouses—and turned them into interactive pop-up block cards that are perfect for spring, summer, or anytime you want to bring a little garden magic to someone’s mailbox.
Mailing Made Simple 📬
Yes, this card is a showstopper—but it still folds flat and fits in the standard envelopes that come with the kit! That said, if you’re sending it through the mail, I recommend hand canceling it at the post office to keep all those beautiful pop-up elements safe.
These cards fold flat, but when opened, they reveal a 3D garden scene that literally pops off the page!
