About This Card

This card features a peaceful treehouse scene — complete with a tree swing — as the focal point. I used the Framed Scenes stamps and dies, which are part of the March Online Exclusives release, and you can find them now in my online Stampin’ Up! store.

To give the card a framed “portrait” feel, I die-cut wood-textured frames and layered them around the stamped images. When the card is opened, another frame and sentiment pop out in a delightful surprise that adds a fun interactive element.

Coloring & Details

To bring this treehouse scene to life, I colored the line art using Stampin’ Blends Markers — one of my favorite ways to add vibrant shading and depth to my stamped images. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned card maker, blending with these markers is an easy way to get professional-looking results.

For a little extra flair, I added an edge detail using the Fancy Borders Dies on the right side of the card. Doesn’t it remind you of the treetops?

The sentiment I used comes from the Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, which made it super quick to add the perfect greeting.

Will It Fit in a Standard Envelope?

Yes! Even though this is a pop-up card, it folds flat and fits perfectly inside a Medium Stampin’ Up! Standard Envelope. Just keep in mind that if you add a lot of dimension, you may want to check whether it needs extra postage.
