ONLINE CLASS & VIDEO: Fun techniques featuring the Fortunate to Know You Stamp Set

So exciting to be able to play with new toys and it isn't even Christmas .... yet. On today's online class I'll be using the new Stampin Up Fortunate to Know You "Fortune Cookie" stamp set to create these set of super stinkin' cute birthday cards. This set will be coming out in the new 2018 Occasions Catalog (available now from Demonstrators and Jan 3 for customers). We'll be doing several fun techniques on these cards. Techniques include:
  • Stampin' Blends blending & Shading
  • Masking
  • Background Sponging
Speaking of Christmas, I will be taking some time off next week to visit with family and spend some time with my son who's home from college. I don't have any scheduled live videos during the week. Linda and I will be back on December 30 with a live card swap from the new catalogs. Happy Holidays!

ONLINE CLASS & VIDEO: How to create a Tiny Treat Box Snowman Hot Cocoa Tower

This is just the stinkin' cutest Tiny Treat Box Snowman Tower of Cocoa. He is created with 3 of Stampin' Up!'s Tiny Treat Boxes, each filled with a layer for the perfect cup of hot chocolate. 1 part Starlight mints, 1 part Hot Chocolate Cocoa powder and 1 part Mini Marshmallows. The spoon is attached with attached with the 7/8" Striped Ribbon in the Holiday Catalog (retiring), the ribbon has some wire in it to hold it's shape. The hat is created from a black knit glove that I found at Wal-Mart (2 pair pack really cheap - 4 gloves). I cut the fingers off to make the hat.

Have you been loving the Stampin Up Stitched Shapes dies and wishing there was a set of dies in the rectangle shape? Well today is your lucky day! In my online class (live on Facebook) I'll be sharing a couple of very cool Big Shot techniques in this class. Include how to make rectangles out of your square stitched shape die and adding ink to your debossed textured background. I'll also show you how to ink up your debossed impression folder images. On this card it's used to highlight the hexagon impression and really make it a stand out on the card.
