Whirly Bird Spinner Card Tutorial

The Whirly Bird Wheel Spinner card is as fun to say as it is to play! Spin the wheel to reveal the message "Hey Chick, let's celebrate you...". For this card I used the Stampin' Blends markers to color the image. I switched up the window to the circle cut out and covered the brad with the scalloped circle frame. Both of these dies are in the Give It a Whirl Die set. NOTE: The Stampin Up Hey Chick bundle is retiring! Hat’s Off Cub Scouts Card Tutorial

These cards are dear to my heart. Both of my sons went from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts, and my oldest went on to become an Eagle Scout. One of the first things I saw with the Stampin' Up Hats Off bundle was Cub Scouts. Here's a collage of a few photos of my sons in the Cub Scout days. On the left is my son Harlan working on his Eagle Scout project (he is in the lower right as a Webelo. And yes that is me in the lower left handing out pins, the Cub Master of their pack lol.

Hats off to our military men and women! These are fun and easy cards Army & Navy cards made with the Stampin' Up Hats Off bundle and the Playful Alphabet dies. Memorial day is coming up and it's a time of reflection and gratitude, but we don't need a holiday to appreciate our men and women in uniform. The Navy hat is in honor of my Step-Dad and my friend Tina Wardell. The Army is in honor of my Dad and Grandfather (who was "Army-Airforce" in WWII, and my friend Don who is on tour in the Middle East currently for 9 months.
