HOW TO MAKE TREAT BOXES

This video class kicks off my new series of adorable gift boxes. These make perfect party / bridal shower favors, Thanksgiving table decor, holiday gift giving and so much more.  I’ll share how to make these boxes using the August 2022 “Sweet Sunflower” Paper Pumpkin Kit.

I used the pretty yellow tissue paper that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit to line the inside of the box.

I created box #1 with the August 2022 Paper Pumpkin Sweet Sunflower card kit.

I used the front of this card from the kit for the box. Then you have a matching gift set. Card and box.

This photo shows the card with the back of the box (opened).

I colored the vellum die cut “mesh” with the Stampin Up Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I didn’t want to cover any of the beautiful print on the box so I cut a piece of the printed card for the handle to match the top of the box.

I used 3/8″ Clear Velcro Dots but for this box I recommend using a larger dot. I have a link to the 3/4″ clear velcro below. It needs a little more strength because the printed card base is thicker than designer paper I used on the other boxes and wants to pop. So the stronger velcro dot will hold it.
  

This cards were made per the Paper Pumpkin kit instructions. I have a video above that shows how to make these as well.
