Say Hello to My Lily of the Valley Tri-Fold Trio!

Friends, I am absolutely smitten with this one. If you’ve been following along, you know I have a soft spot for lily of the valley — there’s just something so delicate and romantic about those little bell-shaped blooms.

So when I got my hands on the Stampin' Up! Valley in Bloom Suite, I knew I had to create something special to show it off. Enter: a trio of tri-fold cards that are equal parts elegant and easy to make. Trust me, once you fold your first one, you'll be hooked!

A Trio of Tri-Fold Cards (Try Saying That Five Times Fast)
If you've never made a tri-fold card before, don't worry — it looks way fancier than it actually is. Basically, instead of your standard one-fold card, you're adding an extra panel that unfolds to reveal a hidden surprise inside (perfect for a photo, a longer message, or just extra "wow" factor).

It's one of those techniques that makes people go "how did you DO that?" when really, it just comes down to a few strategic score lines. I made three different versions using this same base, and each one has its own personality while still feeling like part of a matching set. It's a fantastic project whether you're stamping for yourself or gifting a whole set to someone who deserves a little extra love.

Showcasing That Stunning Designer Paper
Now let's talk paper, because this suite is a total showstopper. Two of the three cards lean on the gorgeous Valley in Bloom designer series paper, which honestly does most of the heavy lifting — those watercolor-style lily of the valley prints are just dreamy.

For the third card, though, I wanted to play a little, so I grabbed the Luxe Specialty paper and used my Stampin' Blends markers to hand-color an ombre effect along the bottom edge. It's a simple technique, but it adds so much depth and makes that card feel extra custom. If you're a fan of mixing patterned paper with a little hand-coloring, this is a great combo to try.

Perfect for All the Occasions
The best part about this trio? They're not one-trick ponies. A "so grateful for you" sentiment and "a little thanks" make these ideal for thank-you notes, but honestly, the soft, romantic feel of the lily of the valley blooms also makes them perfect for sympathy cards, Mother's Day, get-well wishes, or just a "thinking of you" note to brighten someone's mailbox day. Keep a few of these on hand, and you'll always have something beautiful ready to send.
