Brushed with Beauty Gift Set Tutorial – Hidden Message Z Fold Card & Treat Box
If you love soft, elegant florals and timeless designs, you’re going to adore this project! Today I’m sharing part 3 in my Gift Set Series, featuring the stunning new Brushed with Beauty Suite from Stampin’ Up!
This suite has quickly become one of my favorites — the delicate floral patterns, graceful dies, and warm color palette make it perfect for so many occasions. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a Hidden Message Z Fold Card and a coordinating treat box, ideal for gifting cookies, candy, or small surprises.
About the Brushed with Beauty Suite
I’m so excited to introduce you to the Brushed with Beauty Suite — a gorgeous new release from Stampin’ Up! that’s all about soft florals, lovely textures, and timeless elegance. For this set, I chose a Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso color combination to highlight the warmth and softness of the paper. The greetings are versatile enough to fit birthdays, thank-you cards, anniversaries, showers, and even wedding table favors.
Hidden Message Z Fold Card
This card is full of surprises!
At first glance, it’s a simple landscape card that reads “Just because” on the front, featuring dies and stamps from the Words of Beauty Bundle.
But open it up — and it reveals a secret hidden message inside! Mine says “I appreciate you,” but you can easily change the sentiment to “I love you,” “Happy Birthday,” or “Thinking of You.”
That’s what I love about this suite — you can adapt it for absolutely any occasion with just a quick sentiment swap.
Cookie Treat Box
Every handmade card deserves a coordinating gift — and this one’s deliciously sweet!
This 5-½” tall treat box matches the card perfectly and is just the right size for cookies, candy, or even a small gift card. I filled mine with Milano Cookies (you can find them here on Amazon), but you can swap in your favorite treat.
To keep everything coordinated, I customized my ribbon! I didn’t have Crumb Cake ribbon on hand, so I colored Vanilla Ribbon using a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends marker — a quick and easy way to match any project.
Together, the card and box make a beautiful, heartfelt set — with the die-cut words “Just” and “because” standing out as a simple yet powerful sentiment.
