Accordion Pocket Fun Fold with Elegant Pine Snowflakes
Kicking Off a New Series
Today I’m so excited to launch a brand-new card making class and series featuring the Accordion Pocket Fun Fold! This design has a playful accordion style fold with a hidden pocket inside. When you pull on the insert, the sentiment is revealed—such a fun surprise for the recipient.
To start the series, I’ve paired this fold with the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Suite, coming next week in the Online Exclusives. It’s a fabulous suite to highlight this unique fold, and I’ll be sharing the full video class so you can craft along with me.
Warm Winter Wishes with a Touch of Shine
For the words, I heat embossed the sentiment “Warmest Wishes” in silver. I love how the shimmer of heat embossing instantly elevates a card.
The dies in the Elegant Pine set coordinate beautifully with the designer paper, so I used them to cut my focal snowflakes for the front. The layering effect adds depth and elegance without making the card bulky.

The WOW Factor: Branching Out Dies
Now let’s talk about the Branching Out Dies—wow, just wow! These new dies from the Branching Out Bundle, also coming next week in the Holiday Mini Catalog, are layering framing dies with faux stitching details. They add such a polished “wow” touch to any project. I couldn’t resist using them here to frame the focal point of the card.
But What About Fall? 🍂
Since this blog hop is technically fall-themed, my Winter Wishes card might be stretching it a bit (haha). Originally, I planned to share two Farmhouse Floral Accordion Pocket Folds that I made by repurposing pieces from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.
But… I loved that kit so much I used up all of it making alternates! I didn’t have a single piece left for today’s post—oops! 😂 Stay tuned, though—I’ll be posting the instructions for my Farmhouse Floral versions this weekend.
