It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for–the 2019-2020 annual catalog is here! I know I personally have been VERY excited for the launch of the Stampin' Up Capture the Good stamp set on page 142. It's not everyday you get to inspire and design a stamp set for Stampin Up!!

Due June 28 11 Full Card Swap Customers and demonstrators alike can begin ordering the entire new 2019-20 Stampin' Up Catalog beginning Tuesday, June 4. We've just finished up a card swap in May for the "pre-order" sets from this catalog. Now it's time to make some swaps with the rest of the new stamp sets. DAY BY DAY KIT
On today's Paper Pumpkin kit video, I'm doing something a little different. Instead of 2 videos for the December kit, I'm combing them into one - unboxing and alternates. I liked the calendar that came in the kit, but wanted it to stand up, so I found this stand online to display it on my desk. I have more details on both the kit, more alternate projects and where to get this display stand below. FEBRUARY PAPER PUMPKIN KIT
On today's live online class we’ll be making this 5 card set of alternate projects featuring the February 2018 Wildflower Wishes Kit Paper Pumpkin Kit and the new Basket Weave Dynamic Folder. I'll be sharing several fun techniques including an Eclipse Card, and "waffling" background using the Basket Weave Dynamic Folder. All 5 cards in this set are quick and easy for crafters of all levels. Don't have the kit, no problem, you can get the refills in my online store (see details below). About the New Basket Weave Dynamic Folder
The folder I'm using in today's class is brand new. It was part of Stampin Up's Sale-a-bration 2nd release on Feb 16. It will be available free with a $100 order in my online store as part of the Blooming Basket Bundle until March 31.
Following March 31, it will no longer be available until the new Annual Catalog is released in June. At which time you will be able to purchase this folder individually. NOTE: The matching SAB Blooming Basket stamp set will not be released again after March 31 it retires (along with all other SAB products, except the Celebrate You dies).

Storm Updates and Paper Pumpkin Giveaway and Free Gift Deadline is March 10

STORM UPDATE
So that "little" snowstorm they were predicting ended up hitting my area with some wet, heavy snow, that took down trees and power lines. We are used to snow here in New England, but this was heavier then our poor trees and power lines could take, and much of our region ended up without power. I was fortunate to get my power back after a day, but Linda's is still out.
As the power came back on, the supplies for my new office remodel arrived. I had outgrown my old office set up, and needed to re-work the space to better fit our needs. Once it's complete, I hope to be run more efficiently. Construction is beginning today, which has my tiny temporary office space even more crowded and a little tight to work in. My stamp space (Also known as my dining room) is totally covered with office supplies during the construction.
As a result, I have to reschedule my Friday Facebook Live Class until next Tuesday. And we have to cancel Tuesday's Stamp Scoop (we will be back on March 27 with episode 50). Hopefully Linda gets her power back soon.

How to create the "Distressed Metal" look with Stampin' Up! Foils on today's live online class and video. This class is final part of my series on the Waterfront Stamp Set. I'll also be featuring the One Wild Ride and Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Sets. A super cool and easy technique that was born as a "pinterest fail" lol. I stumbled upon this look completely by accident when trying to duplicate a different technique. "You can't have a rainbow without a little rain" is inspirational, and the card design is perfect to help encourage someone who needs a little pick me up. Love the rainbow in the new Stampin' Up! Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set & die bundle. I couldn't find my die for this set, so Veronica went old school and "free hand cut" out the shapes when she created this. The words were cut from the Stitched Shapes dies. Receiving my Paper Pumpkin kit is one of my favorite times of the month, and definitely the best package in my mailbox. So when I was away on vacation over Paper Pumpkin's Positively Picturesque arrival, I was pretty sad. Well I was happy about my trip, but sad thinking about poor Paper Pumpkin being held at the post office waiting. By the time I arrived home, and my mail was delivered it was almost the end of July and even though the kit was a new present for me. The reveal was pretty old for all of you who've already received yours. I love this rose image from the new Stampin Up Graceful Garden Stamp set. Here it's stamped on Sweet Sugarplem and Wild Wasabi, and then cut out by hand. The oval is from the Stitched Shapes dies. A quick watercolor wash over some Stampin Up Watercolor Paper, then cut it out using the Happy Birthday die, reveals this awesome focal piece for the card.
