The ink and paper colors (aside from the Typeset DSP) are from the 2013-2015 In color Collection: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Baked Brown Sugar. Did you know these colors will be retiring in June? True story, the In Colors only stick around for 2 years and this set is on its way out. CARD: Love You Petal Potpourri

Hip! Hip! Hooray my blog and email are back up and running after a very long and frustrating day. My blog had been hacked and what a mess to try and get it resolved. It's FINALLY fixed and all is well with the universe again. My apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused anyone. And just to "spread the love" I'm feeling now that we are fixed, here's a little "love you" card from the Petal Potpourri stamp set and Medallion punch bundle. The background paper is the Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration Irresistibly Yours specialty paper, sponge daubered with some Wild Wasabi in the top and bottom corners for this beautiful effect. The flower is colored with the Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities markers. the "you" is cut from the Hello You thinlits. Designed by Veronica.

PROJECT: Valentine Candy Treat Bags & Stampin Up Leadership

In the meantime today we're battening down the hatches and providing the power stays on I plan on crafting the day away. Here's a really fun Valentines day project from my friend Rachel Tessman. It uses the One Tag Fits All stamp set in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog, along with the Circle punches and I especially love the "monster fingers" are pom poms from the Calypso Coral pompom trim (#137898). These are cello bags from Stampin Up, filled with candy or gumballs. Adorbs!!!

I got this set free during Sale-a-bration, and it is one of new favs. It is so pretty on everything, and super easy. It's a "3-step" stamp, and in the video below I'll show you how to use it. It's a quick, fun and simple set to use. The beautiful script "love" comes from the "hello life" stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.

The "Crazy About You" word stamp set in the Occasions catalog is going to be a staple in my collection. It has everything you could possibly need for occasions. And the "Hello You" thinlits make such a cool companion. For example on this card by Elizabeth Jeanne thatcher, the "happy" comes from the thinlits, and the "birthday" from the stamp set. Adorbs!!!! BLOG HOP: Valentine’s Day Theme Stamp It Hop

Going "outside the box" this stink' cute piggy is cut out from the From The Herd stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. The Valentine dsp is from the Stacked With Love paper stack. And the gray polka dot paper is from the Neutrals DSP collection. The word bubble used is from Just Sayin' Framelits and masked off the sentiment using tape. Using the Stampamajig stamp the "Be Mine" sentiment in Real Red from the stamp set You Plus Me. You can get the You Plus Me stamp set and Stacked with Love DSP as a bundle and save 15%. Designed by Veronica, she used the Word Bubble dies, and the Banner dies. Super fun card.

VIDEO: Cool Bokeh Technique Card

In photography, bokeh (Originally /ˈboʊkɛ/boh-kay) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light". ~ Wikipedia In stamping Bokeh is known as a "Wicked Cool Technique" hahaha. It's also "wicked easy" (as we say here in Boston). Super fun, all it requires is some circle punches, ink pads and a bold stamp set. In video we're using the Adventure Awaits stamp set, that is in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog and not being carried over into the new catalog...so you'll want to get this before June 2.
