This Stampin Up Hey Sports Fan Designer Series Paper is perfect for patriotic projects like this American Flag card. Both the stripes and the navy are from the pack. I cut the stars with the Sports Event dies. Check out my other patriotic projects created with this paper as well as the entire series of projects created with the Hey Sports Fan Suite below.
I used the Stampin Up Happy and Heartfelt stamp with the Hey Sports Fan Suite to create this red, white and blue Americana theme easel fun fold card. The larger stars are made with the Stitched Stars dies. This designer paper makes wonderful patriotic/ 4th of July cards. But these can be used for so much more: birthdays, special events, summer and more.
Card #3 in my Hey Sports Fan series is a fun fold with a surprise inside. I was designing this card just as I was wrapping up my series on Explosion Fun Fold cards. I really love this fun fold technique and I thought it would be fun to make an explosion card with the Hey Sports Fan Suite. This card is a cross over to both series (Hey Sports Fan & Explosion Cards).

Cards 8 & 9 in my explosion card series change to an elegant theme with the Stampin' Up! Simply Elegant Suite. The specialty papers in the suite are so pretty. I paired them with brushed and silver foil and embossed the words. They work nicely for wedding, bridal shower and anniversary cards.

I had some fun with Stampin' Up!'s Brave Vikings stamp set for these explosion fun fold cards. These images are just so darn cute! I colored with the Stampin' Blends markers. The designer paper is the Pattern Party collection. I used the Through It Together stamp set for words on the girl's card.

Kicking off my explosion fun fold card series with 3 cards from the February 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. On this video I'll share how to make these super "fun" fold cards (See what I did there?). I created the first 3 cards in the series with the supplies in the kit. You could also use the Safari Celebration refill kit and a word set to create these. Refill deets below.
Over the next week I'll be sharing other explosion cards for different occasions.
Card 8 in my Stampin Up Waves of the Ocean series is a shaker card. I love the Diorama Dies combined with the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper. I used them to make the window for the shaker. The news this week has been hurting my heart. I found it therapeutic to create this card while praying for the people of Ukraine this morning. I used the Stampin' Up Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in honor of the Ukrainian National Flower.
