Create a Vintage-Inspired Slimline Card with Storybook Moments Paper
I had so much fun creating this slimline card using the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper! This paper brings back memories of Grandma’s house—especially the classic wall of framed photos featuring grandkids. But in this case, the framed images are of the cutest woodland critters—adorable mice, chipmunks, and rabbits.

A Vintage-Inspired Design
The frames on this card were cut directly from the designer paper, giving them a built-in antique look. I carefully selected matching die-cut critters from the coordinating Storybook Moments Specialty Paper, making it look like a wall of treasured portraits.

To add even more of a timeless feel, I sponged the edges of the frames and one of the die-cut critters with Basic Beige cardstock using soft ink blending. This simple step really brings out the vintage charm and makes the images pop!

f you’ve been following along, you might recognize these frames! I actually used the same designer paper sheet last week for my Z Fold cards. If you love this style, make sure to check those out too!

Mailing a Slimline Card
Wondering how to mail this card? Slimline cards are slightly larger than standard A2-sized cards, but don’t worry! Here are a couple of easy solutions:
- Make a custom envelope using coordinating designer paper for a unique, handmade touch.
- Use a standard business-sized envelope—these work perfectly for slimline designs!
