Faithful Keepsakes Gift Set | Handmade Easter Card & Bible-Inspired Gift Box
Welcome, friends! I’m so excited to showcase a special project and video class that I’ve created for my Stamp It Group’s Easter Themed Blog Hop today. This hop is packed with creativity, and we’re also kicking off a fun contest giveaway! I’m so excited to share my latest handmade card and gift box project with you. This one is close to my heart and truly special. For today’s blog hop and video class, I’ve created what I’m calling the “Faithful Keepsakes Gift Set.” It includes a unique arched card and a coordinating gift box designed to look like a Bible.

Inspiration Behind the Design
Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unexpected places. Over the weekend, I was moved by a beautiful arched door with a cross at my church. It immediately brought to mind one of my favorite paintings, “The Light of the World” by William Holman Hunt. This piece shows Jesus standing at a door without a handle—meant to be opened only from the inside. That powerful symbolism inspired the arched shape of the card and the cross embellishment.
To bring this idea to life, I used the Everyday Details Arch Dies to create the unique arched door shape. I’ve also included the verse from Revelation 3:20, which appears in Hunt’s painting. You can download a printable PDF of the verse in the instruction section if you’d like to use it too.

Simply change the words and you can make this a card for many occasions. You can even make it an invitation. Whether you’re crafting for Easter, a First Communion, Baptism, or Confirmation, this heartfelt duo makes a meaningful and beautiful gift.

A Handmade Card That Folds Flat
Although this card has a beautifully arched shape, it conveniently folds flat and fits inside a standard Stampin’ Up! Medium Envelope. That makes it perfect for mailing if you’re sending blessings across the miles. The front design reflects a rustic, church-inspired door—simple and elegant, just like the one that first inspired this project. You’ll notice I left off a handle intentionally to honor the symbolism of the painting.

Bible-Inspired Book Treat Box
The coordinating treat box adds the perfect touch to this gift set. I used the Stampin’ Up! Book Treat Box and transformed it to resemble a Bible by brushing it with Early Espresso Ink using a Blending Brush. The gold cross on the cover adds a classic, elegant touch.

In my original Bible Box I colored the 2 pieces of the Book Box with Early Espresso and I loved it. During the video class I was thinking I’d love it even more if the inside box edges looked like book pages.

I went a little rogue on my own project and I used Basic beige Ink Pad and Blending Brush for the inner box edges and a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker (Neutrals Pack) and drew lines to look like pages. I used the Paper Trimmer Guide for the straight lines. Check out the video.
I love how this version came out even more! Which one do you like better?

This box is just the right size to hold small trinkets, candy, prayer cards, or even a gift card. It’s a versatile packaging idea that works well for Easter baskets, church events, or simply sharing a thoughtful moment with someone special.
