Diagonal Fun Fold Card
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I have a beautiful and unique card idea to share with you! This fun diagonal fold card is the perfect way to send love, whether it’s for Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, a wedding, or even a birthday. I created this card using the Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin Kit—a great way to repurpose and stretch the value of your kits.
This fun fold adds a special touch, making the card stand out in a way that a traditional flat card doesn’t. And the best part? It’s easy to make with my free PDF tutorial, step-by-step video class, and template!
A Unique Fun Fold for Any Occasion
Instead of a traditional card, I wanted to play with angles and movement. This diagonal fold gives the card a dynamic look, and it’s a creative way to showcase different elements of the kit. I used the striped background from one of the card bases in the Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin Kit, which gives the design a bold and stylish touch.
To add a little extra elegance, I accented the diagonal fold with the word “love” in a pretty script. I cut this from the Love of Spring Paper Pumpkin Add-On Dies, which are currently on sale for just $6—such a steal! These dies are versatile and work beautifully for all kinds of projects beyond Valentine’s Day.
Of course, no Valentine’s Day card is complete without hearts! I layered a mix of hearts from the kit and the Hearts of Elegance Dies to create a lovely focal point.

One of my favorite things about this design is its versatility. While it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, it also makes a stunning card for:
💖 Weddings – Swap out the sentiment for “Congratulations” or “Mr. & Mrs.”
🎉 Anniversaries – A beautiful way to celebrate love!
🎂 Birthdays – Simply change the colors or sentiment for a personalized touch.
By changing the colors, patterns, or embellishments, you can adapt this diagonal fold for any occasion!
