How to Make a Pull-Up Photo Card: A Fun Fold Idea for Any Occasion
The Christmas countdown is officially on, and I’m so excited to share one of my favorite projects of the season: a Pull-Up Photo Card! This design is perfect for sharing cherished memories with loved ones during the holidays or any special occasion. When you pull the tab, a photo is revealed along with a surprise greeting—it’s a delightful way to add a personal touch to your handmade cards.
Why I Love Pull-Up Photo Cards
Pull-Up Photo Cards are not only unique but also incredibly versatile. For this project, I used the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, but you can easily substitute with any pretty papers you have on hand. They’re perfect for Christmas, but imagine how adorable these would be as Valentine’s Day cards, birthday greetings, or even keepsake invitations.
The interactive element adds that “wow” factor, and the personal photo makes it a keepsake your recipients will treasure. Plus, they fit perfectly into a standard envelope, making them easy to mail.
Materials and Inspiration
While I used the Sentimental Christmas DSP, the beauty of this project is that it works with so many paper designs and themes. Whether you prefer traditional holiday colors, soft pastels, or bold and bright patterns, this card design can adapt to your style.
And don’t forget the embellishments! Layering die cuts, ribbons, or even metallic accents can take your design to the next level.
