Vintage TV Shows Card and Gift Box Set
Take a delightful trip down memory lane with this unique paper crafting project! I’ve created a charming vintage TV-inspired gift box featuring a photo of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer from the beloved Christmas classic.

Christmas Classics
Both the box and card feature Rudolph as the star, blending holiday charm with retro vibes. I used wood-patterned paper from the Stampin’ Up! Country Woods Designer Paper pack to give the TV its classic console look. The dark woodgrain texture really adds to the authentic vintage aesthetic—just like the old TVs we had as kids that required turning the dial manually!
About the Gift Box and Card Set
This gift set is ideal for the Classic Christmas Specials lovers in your life. The vintage TV box and card are made using the Stampin’ Up! Tune In Dies, with a nostalgic design inspired by Lori Heiling. The idea for combining the gift box and matching card comes from a project I worked on earlier this year.
Fun Fold Card Details
The matching card is full of delightful surprises!
- Interactive Design: The TV screen flips up to reveal a special message inside.
- Traditional Opening: The card also opens like a standard greeting card for more space to write your holiday wishes.
- Frosty Touches: Icicles behind the windowpane are created using the Frozen Edges Dies, adding a wintry feel that perfectly complements the theme.
The Abominable Snowman Stars in his own show
While making this set with the Frozen Edges Dies, I was reminded of Bumbles, the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and I couldn’t resist creating a separate Yeti-themed card featuring him.
