About These Cards
Spring has officially arrived at my craft table, and I am SO excited to share this gorgeous set with you! These Notes of Spring Center Flap Fun Fold Cards are part of my ongoing Center Flap Fun Fold Series — one of my absolute favorite card styles to teach because the “wow factor” is through the roof, but the construction is totally achievable even if you’re newer to card making.
These cards were originally designed for my Stamp It Group’s Mother’s Day Blog Hop, and let me tell you — they turned out even more stunning than I imagined. The soft springtime colors, the delicate butterflies, the sweet little bunny… it just screams spring! 🦋🐰
A Little Snag — But Still So Worth It! 🌼
Here’s the thing — when I first designed this set, I used the Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack for those dreamy background panels. And then, right after I finished designing them, I found out that card pack had completely sold out. Well, darn! 😅
But here’s the good news: these cards are still absolutely adorable, and the background papers can easily be swapped out with so many other Stampin’ Up! designer paper options you may already have. You could even stamp your own backgrounds using the Notes of Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set — how fun would that be?! So don’t let a little sold-out situation stop you. This design is flexible, forgiving, and fabulous no matter what paper you choose!
Spotlight on the Notes of Spring Stamp Set

I’ve made it super easy for you to recreate both of these fun fold cards! In the tutorial, you’ll find everything you need, including written instructions with all the measurements, step-by-step assembly guidance, cut diagrams to take the guesswork out of the folds and cuts, and a video class sharing how to do the fold. The Center Pop Up version uses a Basic Black card base scored and trimmed to create that stunning envelope-flap front, while the Arrow Center Pop Up gives you that dramatic triangle point that lifts to reveal the sweet message inside. Both versions are beginner-friendly — and if you’ve never tried a center flap fold before, I promise you’re going to be hooked!
