Stunning Pop Out Z Fold Cards with the Mixed Media Floral Suite
Hi friends! It’s Tami here, and today I’m so excited to share a beautiful set of Pop Out Z Fold cards I created using the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Media Floral Suite. These were originally designed as alternate projects for one of my past classes, but they came out so stunning I just had to give them their own spotlight!
Whether you’re brand new to card making or a seasoned stamper, this fun fold is surprisingly simple once you see how it comes together. Plus, I’ve included a video tutorial and printable instructions to walk you through every step!
Why You’ll Love These Cards
There’s something magical about an interactive card fold—and the Pop Out Z Fold definitely delivers that “wow” factor. Not only does it fold flat to fit in a standard Medium Stampin’ Up! envelope, but it also creates a dramatic pop when opened.
These cards are perfect for birthdays, thank you notes, or just because. And the design is easily adaptable to many color combinations and suites, making it a go-to fold for any occasion.
A Closer Look at the Design
For both cards, I chose a soft and elegant color palette: Petal Pink and Basic Black. It’s a timeless combo that gives the florals a chic and slightly vintage feel.

“So Much Love” Card: This card features accents from the coordinating Memories & More card pack (which has since sold out). Not to worry! You can still recreate a similar look using the Mixed Media Floral Designer Series Paper.
“Heartfelt Wishes” Card: On this version, I used the Petal Pink striped designer paper for a fresh background. The focal silhouette was created by die cutting the large floral element from the Mixed Florals Dies.
Will It Fit in a Standard Envelope?
Yes! Even though this is a pop-up card, it folds flat and fits perfectly inside a Medium Stampin’ Up! Standard Envelope. Just keep in mind that if you add a lot of dimension, you may want to check whether it needs extra postage.
