The top requested card from my Holiday Catalog card share video last week was this Silent Night Sliver Splatter card created by my friend Laurie Krauss.
It’s surprisingly easy to create and make multiples of. This makes it a great choice for those larger Christmas/Holiday card lists.
On today’s video, I’ll also show you how to create this gradient background with a brayer, along with some brayer tips. And I’ll show you how to take this card from “cool” to “amazing” in 0-5 seconds with the Silver Glitter Splatter Technique.

Hi Tami,
I would like to know, how you do clean your aqua painter after using tombow glue Multipurpose.
Thanks,
Line
If you rinse and wash it with soap right away you can get it off (don’t let it sit long). But I used an old aqua painter that I had “abused” in the past and wasn’t planning on using again so mine is designated solely for “flicking” lol. You can also use an old toothbrush, or regular paintbrush for this technique.
Beautiful card. Thank you for the video.
Thank you.

I tried it but my brayering still is stripy, i did what u said. Keep rolling…. I have a non SU brayer, could it be to hard or something?
is it a rubber brayer? I’m not sure if that will make a difference, but not using SU ink will definitely make a difference. The card stock makes a difference too. Either SU Whisper White (regular not thick), or Very Vanilla are the best. Lastly, make sure your inking up the brayer really well.
yes it is a (old) rubber brayer (don t know which brand). I use the SU inks( don t have any other lol)and boy i did ink it haha.
i did not use wisper white but neenah solar white, maybe that is it. I wil try it tonight with the wisper white paper, thank you so much. I ‘ ll let u know if it helps.
i tryed it but on WW paper it’s still not working. I will order a new brayer(SU of course) , because it does not work. thank you for you help.
I will be sponging till i have my new brayer!
