I absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous gold foil “Noel” greetings in this kit, and paired with the soft Mossy Meadowcard bases, it gives off the most elegant, timeless holiday vibe. I made two versions, one in Mossy Meadow and one in crisp white, so you can see just how different this fold looks with a simple color swap. Even better, it’s the perfect way to stretch your Paper Pumpkin kit into even more handmade Christmas cards! 🎄✨
Why I Named It the Stable Door Fold
You know those charming barn and stable doors that are split in half, so you can open just the bottom? That’s exactly how this card works! Only the bottom half of the card front swings open, revealing a sweet little message panel tucked inside.
The top of the flap is die cut with a row of tiny trees, so when the card is closed, it looks like a snowy hillside with a little cottage nestled in the woods. 🏡 And here’s the best part: it’s surprisingly easy to make! You simply trim down the front of your card base and die cut the top edge. That’s it! If you’re a newer card maker, this is a fabulous fold to try because it looks impressive without being complicated. Truly, it’s anything but a one-horse card! 😉

Of course, I have to give a big shout-out to the stars of the show! The Noel Greetings Paper Pumpkin Refill gave me everything I needed for the card bases, gold foil greetings, and pretty sentiments.
Then I added the Welcome Noel Bundle for that adorable cottage and the tree edgelit die, which creates the dreamy forest scene. Finally, a little Pecan Pie ink on the house, a few gold gems, and a twist of Multicolor Christmas Baker’s Twinefinish everything off with a festive touch.
