CARD: Happy Birthday from Indescribable Gift

This is a beautiful card created with the Indescribable Gift stamp set in the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. The flowers are colored with ink pads and blender pens. the the entire image panel was embossed with Iridescent Ice emboss powder. It's a sparkly beauty. Sadly, this gorgeous stamp set is not being carried over into the new catalog and will be discontinued as of June 2, 2015. Designed by Sharon Burkert.

Today's card features a group of great stamp sets that are set to be retired on June 2. Stampin Up Mixed Bunch, Gifts of Kindness and Itty Bitty Banners are all on the "chopping block" *sniff sniff*. This card also uses Kinda Eclectic, and that has made it's way into the new catalog (whew).

VIDEO: Cool Bokeh Technique Card

In photography, bokeh (Originally /ˈboʊkɛ/boh-kay) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light". ~ Wikipedia
In stamping Bokeh is known as a "Wicked Cool Technique" hahaha. It's also "wicked easy" (as we say here in Boston). Super fun, all it requires is some circle punches, ink pads and a bold stamp set. In video we're using the Adventure Awaits stamp set, that is in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog and not being carried over into the new catalog...so you'll want to get this before June 2.CARD: Birthday Bash Celebrate Today

Today's video is a beautiful window card created with the Stampin Up Indescribable Gift stamp set in the Occasions catalog. This technique of blending on vellum is soft, and easy, and a spin on the "stained glass" technique.

CARD: Happy “Rock n Roll” Birthday Card & Technique Video

The Stampin Up Four Feathers stamp set and coordinating framelit dies originally made their debut in 2014 in the Holiday catalog. They were carried over into the 2015 Occasions catalog and still very popular. Like this card says, they make everything "Happy". Coupled with the "Hello You" thinlits, and the Crazy About You & Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets.
This card, designed by Alison Solvent, uses the "rock n roll" technique with Bermuda Bay and Pool Party inks. Simply stamp the feathers in the little color, the roll the edges in the darker and BAM...You're a rock star!

2015 STAMPIN UP CATALOG DEMO "SNEAK PEEK" SWAP
The 2015-16 Stampin Up Catalog is almost here! As demonstrators we can pre-order select "sneak peek" stamps and some accessories in May (see demo website for details on pre-order).
To kick it off, I'm hosting a card front swap open to all demonstrators. A great way to get some fresh ideas to show your customers, and use as class projects.
5+1 Cardfronts
- make 6 cards total (same design)
- you will receive 5 back (one for the hostess)
- you will not receive your own back
- You can do up to 2 sets (2 different sets of 5+1) to receive more swaps back

- Main Stamp Set / accessories used from the Pre-Order Use of new designer papers, etc is encouraged DO NOT USE: Any retiring stamp sets, accessories or products from Occasions Catalog that is not being carried over
