VIDEO TUTORIAL: Welcome Christmas Card

2010-10-welcome-christmasI love this card!! Such a beautiful and eye catching holiday card. This technique uses a super cool background technique that involves brayering on an impressions folder. It’s surprisingly easy to do…really, check out the video below for details. This card was created by my friend Mary Polcin.

Funny Note: this video was originally made last year for my club members, the ribbon punch was new at the time I was filmimg. So new, in fact, I didn’t even own it yet and had to borrow my mom’s punch lol! Of course I bought it immediately after making the card, and we have used it many times since (you’ll probably laugh at that part).

  1. Love this technique – will be trying it.
I love when you give the sizes of the cardstock. It helps us newbies.

    • Tory you’re very welcome! Just an FYI standard card sizes are 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, standard layers are 1/4″ smaller. These are also listed on my YouTube channel home page. Will help with future projects for you.
